GROUP WORKSHOP

Urban Geometry Street Photography Workshop

$135 per person (max. 6 people)
09:00 - 13:00

This photo workshop centres around black-and-white photography in urban environments, with occasional colour recommendations based on location and lighting conditions.

When exploring a new city, it’s exciting to discover those iconic spots often seen on social media but hard to find in person. Together, we’ll visit several of these standout locations, focusing on creating images that highlight geometry, shadows, reflections, silhouettes, and leading lines.

Throughout the workshop, I’ll share tips and advice on composition, working with light, and capturing decisive moments with your camera.

  • Starting Point:

We’ll begin in Ebisu, exploring the sprawling Garden Place, where shadows play beautifully beneath the trellised canopy.

    Next Stop:

From there, we’ll head to Roppongi, visiting a few hidden gems before stopping at the National Art Center. The centre’s massive glass facade provides an incredible opportunity to capture reflections and striking shadows.

    Final Destination:

The workshop wraps up in Yurakucho, with an in-depth exploration of the architectural wonder that is the Tokyo International Forum.
